Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Venda (usevenda.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. What Venda Provides
Venda is a platform that allows Nigerian small business owners and skilled workers to create online stores and service portfolios. We provide the tools — you provide the business.
3. Your Account
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for keeping your account password secure
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Venda
- One person may not create multiple accounts to abuse the free plan
4. Free and Premium Plans
Free Plan: Includes up to 2 stores with up to 20 products each. No payment processing features.
Premium Plan: ₦2,500/month. Includes unlimited stores, payment processing, order tracking and all premium features.
Payments are processed by Paystack and are non-refundable unless required by law.
5. Your Content
You own the content you upload to Venda (products, images, descriptions). By uploading, you grant us a license to display it on your store page.
You must not upload content that is:
- Illegal, fraudulent or misleading
- Infringing on someone else's intellectual property
- Harmful, offensive or inappropriate
- Counterfeit or stolen goods
6. Prohibited Activities
You must not use Venda to:
- Sell illegal products or services
- Scam or defraud customers
- Spam or harass other users
- Attempt to hack or disrupt the platform
- Create fake accounts or abuse free tier limits
7. Transactions Between Users
Venda provides the platform — we are not party to transactions between store owners and their customers. Any disputes between a buyer and seller must be resolved between them directly.
8. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or harm other users — without prior notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
Venda is provided "as is". We are not liable for any losses arising from use of the platform, including lost sales, data loss or service interruptions.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Venda after changes means you accept the new terms.
